Praise (shabach) - to commend, to adore, to still, to quiet.
Shabach goes in 2 directions - Praising & Calming
"My lips shall praise you...I will lift up my hands in Your name." ps. 63
"There is power in lifting up our hands and praising God out loud.
Some are uncomfortable with this, because they think it makes them appear fanatical.
In reality, it is their PRIDE that's being confronted, they don't want to be thought of as foolish or strange.
